Πρώτη ημέρα της νέας σχολικής χρονιάς στο Ελληνικό Σχολείο «Όμηρος» Χειμάρρας

Με χαρά, συγκίνηση και αισιοδοξία ξεκίνησε την Τρίτη, 8 Σεπτεμβρίου 2026, η νέα σχολική χρονιά στο εννεατάξιο Ελληνικό Σχολείο «Όμηρος» Χειμάρρας.

Ο σχολικός χώρος γέμισε με παιδικές φωνές, χαμόγελα και προσδοκίες για μια δημιουργική χρονιά γεμάτη γνώση, νέες εμπειρίες και όμορφες στιγμές. Μαθητές, εκπαιδευτικοί και γονείς συγκεντρώθηκαν για να υποδεχθούν τη νέα σχολική περίοδο με ενότητα, πίστη και ελπίδα.

Η ημέρα αυτή σηματοδοτεί μια νέα αρχή, ένα ακόμη βήμα στο ταξίδι της γνώσης και της προσωπικής ανάπτυξης κάθε μαθητή. Το σχολείο δεν είναι μόνο ένας χώρος μάθησης, αλλά και ένας τόπος όπου καλλιεργούνται οι αξίες του σεβασμού, της συνεργασίας, της αλληλεγγύης και της αγάπης για την ελληνική γλώσσα και τον πολιτισμό.

Ευχόμαστε σε όλους τους μαθητές μια χρονιά γεμάτη πρόοδο, δημιουργικότητα και επιτυχίες, στους εκπαιδευτικούς δύναμη και έμπνευση στο έργο τους και στους γονείς υγεία και χαρά.

Dita e parë e vitit të ri shkollor në Shkollën Greke 9-vjeçare “Omiros” në Himarë

Me gëzim, emocion dhe optimizëm, të martën, më 8 shtator 2026, nisi viti i ri shkollor në Shkollën Greke 9-vjeçare “Omiros” në Himarë.

Oborri i shkollës u mbush me zërat e fëmijëve, buzëqeshje dhe pritshmëri për një vit të ri plot dije, përvoja të bukura dhe momente të paharrueshme. Nxënësit, mësuesit dhe prindërit u mblodhën për të mirëpritur këtë fillim të ri me frymë bashkëpunimi, besimi dhe shprese.

Kjo ditë shënon një fillim të ri dhe një tjetër hap në rrugëtimin drejt dijes dhe zhvillimit personal të çdo nxënësi. Shkolla nuk është vetëm një vend ku mësohet, por edhe një hapësirë ku kultivohen vlerat e respektit, bashkëpunimit, solidaritetit dhe dashurisë për gjuhën e kulturën greke.

Urojmë që ky vit shkollor të sjellë për të gjithë nxënësit përparim, krijimtari dhe suksese; për mësuesit, frymëzim dhe energji në misionin e tyre të çmuar; ndërsa për prindërit, shëndet dhe gëzim.

With joy, emotion and optimism, the new school year began on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, at “Omiros” Greek Nine-Year School in Himara.

The school grounds came alive with children's voices, smiles and hopes for a year filled with learning, new experiences and memorable moments. Students, teachers and parents gathered to welcome the new academic year in a spirit of unity, trust and hope.

This day marks a fresh beginning and another step on every student's journey towards knowledge and personal growth. A school is not merely a place of learning; it is also a community where respect, cooperation, solidarity, and appreciation for the Greek language and culture are nurtured.

We wish all our students a school year filled with progress, creativity and success; our teachers, inspiration and strength in their valuable work; and our parents, health and happiness.

Ένα αφιέρωμα μνήμης στον Νίκο Μπρίγκο | Një homazh përkujtimor për Nikollaq Brigon | A Tribute to Nikollaq Brigo

 

Ένα σχολείο, μια ζωή, μια ανεξίτηλη παρακαταθήκη…

Η τελευταία ημέρα του σχολικού έτους 2025–2026 στο Ελληνικό Σχολείο «Όμηρος» Χειμάρρας δεν ήταν μια συνηθισμένη ημέρα. Ήταν μια ημέρα βαθιάς συγκίνησης, μνήμης και αγάπης, αφιερωμένη σε έναν άνθρωπο που υπήρξε η ψυχή και η κινητήρια δύναμη του σχολείου μας, τον αείμνηστο Νικόλλα Μπρίγκο.

Ένα συγκινητικό βίντεο, γεμάτο αναμνήσεις και συναισθήματα, έγινε ο τρόπος μας να εκφράσουμε την ευγνωμοσύνη και την αγάπη μας για τον ιδρυτή και διευθυντή του «Ομήρου», ο οποίος αφιέρωσε είκοσι χρόνια από τη ζωή του στη δημιουργία, την ανάπτυξη και την πορεία αυτού του σχολείου.

Η ξαφνική αναχώρησή του άφησε ένα δυσαναπλήρωτο κενό στις καρδιές όλων μας. Για την εκπαιδευτική μας κοινότητα, όμως, ο Νίκο Μπρίγκος δεν ήταν απλώς ένας διευθυντής. Ήταν ο άνθρωπος που πίστεψε σε ένα όραμα, που εργάστηκε με αφοσίωση για να το κάνει πραγματικότητα και που συνέδεσε τη ζωή του με την ιστορία του σχολείου μας.

Είκοσι χρόνια προσφοράς δεν χωρούν σε λίγες λέξεις ούτε σε ένα βίντεο. Χωρούν, όμως, στις αναμνήσεις των μαθητών, στην πορεία των εκπαιδευτικών, στις στιγμές που μοιραστήκαμε και στις αξίες που συνεχίζουν να μας καθοδηγούν.

Την ημέρα αυτή, οι εικόνες μίλησαν εκεί όπου τα λόγια δυσκολεύονταν να βρουν τη θέση τους. Κάθε στιγμιότυπο έγινε ένα μικρό «ευχαριστώ», μια υπόσχεση ότι το έργο του θα συνεχίσει να ζει μέσα από το σχολείο που δημιούργησε και αγάπησε.

Αγαπητέ μας κύριε Λάκη, η απουσία σας είναι αισθητή, αλλά η παρουσία σας παραμένει ζωντανή σε κάθε γωνιά του «Ομήρου». Στις αίθουσες όπου ακούγονται οι φωνές των παιδιών, στα όνειρα που γεννιούνται και σε κάθε νέο βήμα που κάνει το σχολείο μας.

Η τελευταία ημέρα της σχολικής χρονιάς έγινε έτσι ένας αποχαιρετισμός, αλλά και μια υπόσχεση συνέχειας. Γιατί οι άνθρωποι που αφιερώνουν τη ζωή τους στην παιδεία δεν φεύγουν πραγματικά. Παραμένουν μέσα στις γνώσεις που μεταδίδονται, στις ψυχές που αγγίζουν και στο μέλλον που βοηθούν να οικοδομηθεί.

Σας ευχαριστούμε για όλα όσα δημιουργήσατε, για όλα όσα προσφέρατε και για το όραμα που μας αφήσατε.

Η μνήμη σας θα παραμείνει για πάντα ζωντανή στο Σχολείο «Όμηρος» Χειμάρρας.

Një shkollë, një jetë, një trashëgimi e pashlyeshme…

Dita e fundit e vitit shkollor 2025–2026 në Shkollën Greke “Omiros” në Himarë nuk ishte një ditë e zakonshme. Ishte një ditë e mbushur me emocione të thella, kujtime dhe dashuri, kushtuar një njeriu që ishte shpirti dhe forca shtytëse e shkollës sonë, të ndjerit Nikollaq Brigo.

Një video prekëse, e mbushur me kujtime dhe ndjenja, u bë mënyra jonë për të shprehur mirënjohjen dhe dashurinë për themeluesin dhe drejtuesin e “Omiros”, i cili i kushtoi njëzet vite të jetës së tij krijimit, zhvillimit dhe rrugëtimit të kësaj shkolle.

Largimi i tij i papritur nga jeta la një boshllëk të pazëvendësueshëm në zemrat tona. Për komunitetin tonë arsimor, Nikollaq Brigo nuk ishte thjesht një drejtues. Ai ishte njeriu që besoi në një vizion, që punoi me përkushtim për ta kthyer atë në realitet dhe që lidhi jetën e tij me historinë e shkollës sonë.

Njëzet vite përkushtimi nuk mund të përmblidhen në pak fjalë apo në një video. Ato jetojnë në kujtimet e nxënësve, në rrugëtimin e mësuesve, në çastet që kemi ndarë së bashku dhe në vlerat që vazhdojnë të na udhëheqin.

Atë ditë, pamjet folën aty ku fjalët e kishin të vështirë të gjenin vendin e tyre. Çdo imazh u bë një «faleminderit» i vogël, një premtim se vepra e tij do të vazhdojë të jetojë përmes shkollës që ai krijoi dhe deshi aq shumë.

I dashur zoti Niko, mungesa juaj ndihet, por prania juaj mbetet e gjallë në çdo cep të “Omiros”. Në klasat ku dëgjohen zërat e fëmijëve, në ëndrrat që lindin dhe në çdo hap të ri që hedh shkolla jonë.

Kështu, dita e fundit e vitit shkollor u bë një lamtumirë, por edhe një premtim për vazhdimësi. Sepse njerëzit që i kushtojnë jetën arsimit nuk largohen kurrë plotësisht. Ata mbeten në dijen që përcillet, në shpirtrat që prekin dhe në të ardhmen që ndihmojnë të ndërtohet.

Ju falënderojmë për gjithçka që krijuat, për gjithçka që dhatë dhe për vizionin që na latë trashëgim.

Kujtimi juaj do të mbetet përherë i gjallë në Shkollën “Omiros” në Himarë.

A School, a Life, an Enduring Legacy…

The last day of the 2025–2026 school year at “Omiros” Greek School in Himara was not an ordinary day. It was a day filled with deep emotion, remembrance and love, dedicated to a man who was the heart and driving force of our school, the late Nikollaq Brigo.

A moving video, filled with memories and emotion, became our way of expressing gratitude and love for the founder and director of “Omiros”, who devoted twenty years of his life to the creation, growth and development of our school.

His sudden passing left an irreplaceable void in our hearts. Yet, to our educational community, Nikollaq Brigo was more than a school director. He was the man who believed in a vision, worked with dedication to make it a reality, and connected his life with the story of our school.

Twenty years of dedication cannot be captured in a few words or a single video. They live on in the memories of students, in the journeys of teachers, in the moments we shared and in the values that continue to guide us.

On this day, images spoke where words struggled to find their place. Every moment became a quiet “thank you”, a promise that his work would continue to live on through the school he founded and loved.

Dear Mr Brigo, your absence is deeply felt, yet your presence remains alive in every corner of “Omiros”. In the classrooms where children's voices can be heard, in the dreams that begin to take shape, and in every new step our school takes.

The final day of the school year thus became both a farewell and a promise to carry on. For those who devote their lives to education never truly leave us. They remain in the knowledge passed on, in the lives they touch and in the future they help build.

Thank you for everything you created, everything you gave, and the vision you entrusted to us.

Your memory will forever remain alive at “Omiros” School in Himara.

May you rest in peace. You will never be forgotten.

Ένας αποχαιρετισμός γεμάτος συγκίνηση και ευχές | Një lamtumirë plot emocione dhe urime | A Farewell Filled with Emotion and Best Wishes

 

Με συγκίνηση και αγάπη, το Σχολείο «Όμηρος» Χειμάρρας αποχαιρέτησε τους μαθητές και τις μαθήτριες της Θ΄ τάξης, οι οποίοι ολοκλήρωσαν ένα σημαντικό κεφάλαιο της σχολικής τους ζωής και ετοιμάζονται να ξεκινήσουν ένα νέο ταξίδι στο Λύκειο.

Τα χρόνια που πέρασαν στο σχολείο γέμισαν με γνώσεις, φιλίες, εμπειρίες και όμορφες αναμνήσεις. Τώρα, μπροστά τους ανοίγεται ένας νέος δρόμος, γεμάτος προκλήσεις, ευκαιρίες και όνειρα.

Οι εκπαιδευτικοί και ολόκληρη η σχολική κοινότητα τούς εύχονται καλή πρόοδο, δύναμη, επιτυχίες και πίστη στις δυνατότητές τους. Οι πόρτες του «Ομήρου» θα παραμένουν πάντα ανοιχτές για εκείνους, γιατί κάθε μαθητής που μεγαλώνει μαζί μας αποτελεί ένα ξεχωριστό κομμάτι της ιστορίας του σχολείου μας.

Me emocione dhe dashuri, Shkolla “Omiros” në Himarë përshëndeti nxënësit e klasës së nëntë, të cilët përmbyllën një kapitull të rëndësishëm të jetës së tyre shkollore dhe po përgatiten të nisin një rrugëtim të ri në gjimnaz.

Vitet e kaluara në shkollë u kanë dhuruar dije, miqësi, përvoja dhe kujtime të bukura. Tashmë, përpara tyre hapet një rrugë e re, plot sfida, mundësi dhe ëndrra për të ardhmen.

Mësuesit dhe i gjithë komuniteti shkollor u urojnë përparim, forcë, suksese dhe besim në aftësitë e tyre. Dyert e “Omiros” do të mbeten gjithmonë të hapura për ta, sepse çdo nxënës që rritet pranë nesh bëhet pjesë e veçantë e historisë së shkollës sonë.

Suksese në rrugëtimin e ri! Ndiqni ëndrrat tuaja me guxim dhe ecni gjithmonë përpara me dije, karakter dhe buzëqeshje!

With emotion and affection, “Omiros” School in Himara said farewell to its ninth-grade students, who have completed an important chapter of their school lives and are now preparing to begin a new journey in high school.

The years spent at school have brought them knowledge, friendships, experiences and beautiful memories. Now, a new path lies ahead, filled with challenges, opportunities and dreams for the future.

The teachers and the entire school community wish them progress, strength, success and confidence in their abilities. The doors of “Omiros” will always remain open to them, because every student who grows with us becomes a special part of our school's story.

Εκπαιδευτική εκδρομή στην Απολλωνία | Vizitë edukative në Vlorë dhe Apoloni | Educational Trip to Vlora and Apollonia

Οι μαθητές και οι εκπαιδευτικοί του Ελληνικού Σχολείου «Όμηρος» Χειμάρρας πραγματοποίησαν μια ξεχωριστή εκπαιδευτική εκδρομή στη Βλόρα και στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο της Απολλωνίας, στην περιοχή του Φιέρι, με επικεφαλής την εκπαιδευτικό Elda Gjonaj.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της επίσκεψης στις αλυκές της περιοχής, οι μαθητές γνώρισαν τη διαδικασία παραγωγής του αλατιού και ενημερώθηκαν για τη σημασία αυτού του φυσικού πόρου. Στη συνέχεια, επισκέφθηκαν την αρχαία Απολλωνία, έναν σημαντικό αρχαιολογικό χώρο με πλούσια ιστορία και σπουδαία ίχνη του αρχαίου ελληνικού πολιτισμού.

Μέσα από αυτή την εμπειρία, τα παιδιά ήρθαν σε επαφή με τη φύση, την ιστορία και την πολιτιστική κληρονομιά του τόπου. Η εκδρομή συνδύασε τη γνώση με την εξερεύνηση, προσφέροντας στους μαθητές πολύτιμες εμπειρίες έξω από τη σχολική αίθουσα.

 

Nxënësit dhe mësuesit e Shkollës Greke “Omiros” në Himarë zhvilluan një udhëtim të veçantë edukativ në Vlorë dhe në parkun arkeologjik të Apolonisë, në zonën e Fierit, nën drejtimin e mësueses Elda Gjonaj.

Gjatë vizitës në kriporet e zonës, nxënësit u njohën me procesin e prodhimit të kripës dhe rëndësinë e këtij burimi natyror. Më pas, ata vizituan Apoloninë e lashtë, një qendër e rëndësishme arkeologjike që ruan gjurmë të çmuara të qytetërimit të lashtë grek.

Kjo përvojë u dha fëmijëve mundësinë të njiheshin më nga afër me natyrën, historinë dhe trashëgiminë kulturore. Udhëtimi ndërthuri dijen me eksplorimin dhe u ofroi nxënësve përvoja të vlefshme jashtë klasës.

 

 The students and teachers of “Omiros” Greek School in Himara took part in a special educational trip to Vlora and the archaeological site of Apollonia, in the Fier region, led by teacher Elda Gjonaj.

During their visit to the local salt pans, the students learned about the salt production process and the importance of this natural resource. They then explored ancient Apollonia, an important archaeological site preserving remarkable traces of ancient Greek civilization.

This experience allowed the children to discover more about nature, history and cultural heritage. The trip combined learning with exploration, providing students with valuable educational experiences beyond the classroom.

 25η Μαρτίου: Εθνική επέτειος και γιορτή της Ελληνικής Επανάστασης στο Σχολείο «Όμηρος» Χειμάρρας

Η 25η Μαρτίου αποτελεί μία από τις σημαντικότερες ημέρες της ελληνικής ιστορίας, καθώς τιμά την έναρξη της Ελληνικής Επανάστασης του 1821, τον αγώνα του ελληνικού λαού για ελευθερία και ανεξαρτησία από την οθωμανική κυριαρχία.

Στο Ελληνικό Σχολείο «Όμηρος» Χειμάρρας, η επέτειος τιμήθηκε με μια όμορφη σχολική εκδήλωση, γεμάτη συγκίνηση, υπερηφάνεια και σεβασμό στην ιστορική μνήμη. Οι μαθητές και οι μαθήτριες συμμετείχαν στην εορταστική εκδήλωση, παρουσιάζοντας στιγμές και συμβολισμούς που συνδέουν τις νεότερες γενιές με την ιστορία και τις παραδόσεις του Ελληνισμού.

Με τις ελληνικές σημαίες να στολίζουν τον σχολικό χώρο, τα παιδιά τίμησαν τους αγωνιστές του 1821 και ανέδειξαν τις αξίες της ελευθερίας, της αξιοπρέπειας, της ενότητας και της αυτοθυσίας. Η συμμετοχή των εκπαιδευτικών, των γονέων και της σχολικής κοινότητας έδωσε στην εκδήλωση έναν ιδιαίτερα ζεστό και συγκινητικό χαρακτήρα.

Μέσα από τέτοιες εκδηλώσεις, το σχολείο συμβάλλει στη διατήρηση της ιστορικής μνήμης, στη μετάδοση της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς και στην καλλιέργεια του σεβασμού προς την ιστορία και τις παραδόσεις.

 25 Marsi: Festa kombëtare dhe përkujtimi i Revolucionit Grek në Shkollën “Omiros” në Himarë

25 Marsi është një nga datat më të rëndësishme të historisë greke. Kjo ditë përkujton fillimin e Revolucionit Grek të vitit 1821, luftën e popullit grek për liri dhe pavarësi nga sundimi osman.

Në Shkollën Greke 9-vjeçare “Omiros” në Himarë, kjo festë kombëtare u përkujtua me një veprimtari shkollore të veçantë, të mbushur me emocion, krenari dhe respekt për historinë. Nxënësit morën pjesë në aktivitetin festiv, duke sjellë në vëmendje ngjarjet dhe simbolet që lidhin brezat e rinj me historinë dhe traditat e popullit grek.

Nën valëvitjen e flamujve grekë, fëmijët nderuan luftëtarët e vitit 1821 dhe vlerat që përfaqësojnë këtë ngjarje historike: lirinë, dinjitetin, unitetin dhe sakrificën. Prania e mësuesve, prindërve dhe komunitetit shkollor i dha aktivitetit një atmosferë të ngrohtë dhe emocionuese.

Veprimtari të tilla kanë një rëndësi të veçantë për edukimin e brezave të rinj, sepse ndihmojnë në ruajtjen e kujtesës historike, përcjelljen e trashëgimisë kulturore dhe njohjen e vlerave e traditave ndër breza.

 25 March: National Celebration of the Greek Revolution at “Omiros” School in Himara

25 March is one of the most important dates in Greek history. It commemorates the beginning of the Greek Revolution of 1821, when the Greek people rose in their struggle for freedom and independence from Ottoman rule.

At “Omiros” Greek Nine-Year School in Himara, this national anniversary was marked with a special school celebration filled with emotion, pride and respect for historical memory. Students took part in the event, highlighting the historical moments and symbols that connect younger generations with Greek history and traditions.

With Greek flags decorating the school grounds, the children paid tribute to the fighters of 1821 and to the values associated with this historic struggle: freedom, dignity, unity and sacrifice. The presence of teachers, parents and members of the school community created a warm and meaningful atmosphere.

Events like this play an important role in educating younger generations, preserving historical memory, passing on cultural heritage and fostering respect for history and tradition.

Τα ταξίδια είναι μέρος της ζωής μας| Udhëtimi është pjesë e jetës sonë | Travel Is Part of Our Lives

 

Οι μαθητές της Γ΄ τάξης του Σχολείου «Όμηρος» Χειμάρρας υλοποίησαν ένα δημιουργικό εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα με θέμα «Τα ταξίδια είναι μέρος της ζωής μας». Μέσα από ζωγραφιές, φωτογραφίες και μικρές παρουσιάσεις, τα παιδιά γνώρισαν διαφορετικούς τόπους, πολιτισμούς και παραδόσεις, ανακαλύπτοντας τη χαρά της εξερεύνησης και της μάθησης.

Nxënësit e klasës së tretë të Shkollës “Omiros” në Himarë zhvilluan një projekt krijues me temë “Udhëtimi është pjesë e jetës sonë”. Përmes vizatimeve, fotografive dhe prezantimeve të vogla, fëmijët njohën vende, kultura dhe tradita të ndryshme, duke zbuluar kënaqësinë e eksplorimit dhe të të nxënit.

The Grade 3 students of “Omiros” School in Himara completed a creative project entitled “Travel Is Part of Our Lives”. Through drawings, photographs and short presentations, the children explored different places, cultures and traditions, discovering the joy of exploration and learning.
