Famous people known for charity

 What do Beyoncé, Elton John, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Shakira, and Bette Midler all have in common? They are all celebrities that use their wealth to help others who are less fortunate in need.

Charity is a very important aid given to those in need. 

There are a lot famous that they help all the time giving money or adopting children from poor countries, they created different foundations everywhere. 

Today we discussed about this topic and we prepare a poster with the most famous people in story of politics and show biz that they are known for charity work. 

Let's use this discussion to think about the benefits of being philanthropist. 

Νέα τεχνολογία στην ζωή μας

 Σήμερα με τους μαθητές της 9-ης τάξης κάναμε ένα πρότζεκτ με θέμα "Πως η τεχνολογία επηρεάζει τη ζωή μας". Οι μαθητές είχανε ετοιμάζει παρουσιάσεις όπου είχαν συγκεντρωθεί στο κομμάτι της άμεσης ανάγκης για την χρήση της νέας τεχνολογίας παντού στην ζωή μας, στην καθημερινότητα μας. 

Επίσης τονίζαμε τις αρνητικές πλευρές του διαδικτύου, το κίνδυνο που υπάρχει, την συνέπεια της υπερβολικής χρήσης του. 

Πιστεύω ότι πέρα από μια παρουσίαση καταφέραμε να ανταλλάξαμε απόψεις και να δίνουμε μηνύματα πολύ χρήσιμα για όλους εμάς. 

Today with the 9th grade students we did a project on "How technology affects our lives". The students had prepared presentations where they had concentrated on the part of the immediate need for the use of new technology everywhere in our lives, in our everyday life.

We also emphasized the negative sides of the internet, the danger that exists, the consequence of it excessive use.

I believe that beyond a presentation we managed to exchange opinions and give messages very useful for all of us.

A day dedicated to poetry!

 

In this day dedicated to the poetry we decided together to do something different.

 Berton Braley an American poet. His best-known poem is "The Will to Win", written in a motivational tone.

Inspirational authors like Keira van der Kolk, an Internet personality who initially she began receiving attention online when she became a teenager.

Joseph Rudyard Kipling an English journalist, short-story writer, poet, and novelist. He was born in British India, which inspired much of his work and the most successful it was "If".

In a very passionate way we made this project.
